Fee, Payment and Billing Policies
Payment for each session is due at the time of your service. Our office accepts cash, checks and all major credit cards (including HSA). Please make your checks payable to Compass Whole Health. We would be happy to contact your insurance company to check your counseling or massage benefits. Our massage therapist and counselors are in network with several insurance companies, call us today and let us check your counseling and massage therapy benefits.
We reserve a specific counseling time for you. If there is an unexpected or emergency situation and you have to cancel your appointment, you should contact your counselor/therapist by phone at least 1 business day prior to your scheduled appointment to cancel. When the appointment is on Monday, then the cancellation notice should be received by Friday the previous week. Canceling same day or missing an appointment, will be charged at our discretion, a charge for the full session fee will be applied.
Availability Outside of Scheduled Appointments
Because we see clients by appointment only, we are not always available when you call. Our front office staff are available to answer any scheduling or billing questions Monday thru Thursday from 9-5 or Friday 9-3. We do our best to check messages on a regular basis and will return your call or message as soon as we are available. Please include your telephone number and the therapist you see in your message.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency you should call 911 and/or call the 24-hour Clark County Crisis line at (800) 626-8137, or go to the nearest emergency room for assistance.

Statement of Principles
If you have any questions or disagree about a decision your counselor or therapist has made or have other concerns about your privacy rights, please contact our office so we can talk about any disagreements you might have at (360 )558-7730.
If you feel that any therapist with Compass Whole Health has treated you unfairly or has behaved unprofessionally, please tell us immediately. You can also contact the Washington State Department of Health, Health Professions Quality Assurance to receive assistance clarifying your concerns and, if necessary, filing a complaint.
We do not discriminate against clients because of any of these factors: age, sex, gender, marital/family status, race, culture, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, place of residence, veteran status, physical disability, health status, sexual orientation, or criminal record unrelated to present dangerous behavior. This is required by federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as a personal commitment.
