Insightful, compassionate therapy for sensitive, thoughtful, and overwhelmed humans

My Work & Perspective

Many people spend years functioning on the outside while quietly feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they cannot fully explain. You may find yourself overthinking, people pleasing, striving for perfection, or constantly trying to meet everyone else’s needs while losing connection with your own.

I work with teens, young adults, women, and neurodivergent clients navigating anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, attachment wounds, identity exploration, postpartum experiences, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the clients I work with are highly sensitive, deeply thoughtful, or accustomed to masking their struggles while appearing capable to everyone around them.

I believe healing begins with understanding. When we slow down enough to explore the deeper roots of our patterns with compassion rather than judgment, meaningful change becomes possible.

My Background

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California in 2019 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Compass Whole Health, I worked in community mental health in Los Angeles supporting clients navigating complex trauma, housing insecurity, systemic stressors, and generational trauma.

I have also completed additional training through Postpartum Support International focused on perinatal mental health including postpartum depression and anxiety.

Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, gardening, reading, podcasts, travel, and learning about art, culture, food, and spiritual practices from around the world.

My Approach

My style is thoughtful, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. I create a therapy space that feels warm, grounded, and reflective where you can explore your experiences openly and honestly.

Much of my work is grounded in attachment theory and informed by psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral approaches. I often help clients explore how early experiences, unmet emotional needs, family systems, and learned patterns continue to shape their relationships, self perception, and nervous systems today.

I also integrate mindfulness, self compassion practices, and nervous system awareness into my work. Therapy with me is not about criticizing yourself into change. It is about learning how to understand yourself more deeply and respond to yourself with greater care and curiosity.
