You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.

She is passionate about helping people navigate through life in a way that holds truth to their authentic self. She works primarily with adults who are seeking to heal from the struggles of life. Her experience provides support to help people manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal trauma, pain management, social injustice, identity and relationships.

My Background

Kayla received a Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University (Go Eags!). She has experience working with individuals from all walks of life in various settings. These include; Community Mental health, Juvenile and Adult Justice, Nephrology, Pain Management and Private Practice.
In her free time, she enjoys being in nature, road trips, and consuming creative arts. She loves animals of all sorts but has a specific gratitude towards her cat, Chuck.

My Approach & Philosophy

Kayla views therapy as a unique experience for all. Her approach involves a variety of modalities that are based upon each client’s individual needs and desires. Motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focused therapies are her favorite approaches. Kayla will work with you to discover patterns and self-messaging that hinders you from moving forward. The goal is to help you gain balance and feel better and more confidently equipped to meet your personal challenges.

Therapy work is a comfortable relationship-based approach where Kayla can assist you in navigating your way through where you are and where you would like to go. Her approach is very client-centered, and she believes that clients often know their goals, but need a supportive and guided path to follow for the changes they are seeking, whether it is acceptance, or a strategy with which to move forward. Always empathic, judgment free, authentic, warm, with a touch of humor.
