My Background
Erica has experience working with people from all walks of life in education, social work, case management, and counseling services. She knows firsthand the experiences of parenting in a blended family, divorce, cultural/racial barriers, inequality, raising children as a single parent, and relationship struggles.
Erica strives to be authentic and true to herself and those that she gets the privilege to work with. She is passionate about helping the local community and working with others.
Aside from owning a group practice and being a therapist, she enjoys hiking, reading a good book, traveling, riding motorcycles and jet ski with her husband, and spending time with her beloved french bulldog Courage!
My Approach & Philosophy
I enjoy working with people of all ages offering them support when they are struggling/adjusting in transitions. I understand that life’s difficulties come in many forms; from career burnout, daily stresses, family conflict, divorce, raising a blended family, and relationship issues.
Helping parents and children with family problems is close to my heart. I know first-hand that restoration in these intimate relationships is possible. I also know the difficulties that occur in the family during a divorce. I work with parents to address the hardships of co-parenting and with children who might struggle with the behavioral or emotional distress of divorce.
My approach to therapy is directive yet positive, encouraging you, the client to focus on successes using your own strengths to help you achieve your goals.
