My Background

Sarah graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Applied Psychological Science from Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR in 2021. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature & Creative Writing and studied Western Philosophy.

Sarah has been practicing as a Mental Health Therapist since 2020, with a background in community mental health. She has experience working with a wide range of mental health symptoms, issues, and challenges including: anxiety, depression, adjustment, and trauma.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with my family and friends, reading, writing, and crafting.

My Approach & Philosophy

I view therapy as a collaborative process guided by the client. I approach this process through a lens of curiosity and empathy, with an ultimate goal of helping individuals process unresolved emotions and past negative experiences, while also empowering them to change any resulting unhealthy patterns.

My theoretical approach is rooted in Existential Psychology and I believe in the freedom and power of the individual to make choices, create their own meaning, and live authentically. I will work with you to address any issues or difficulties you may be struggling with, including helping to identify and process potential barriers to living an authentic and meaningful life.

Each individual has a unique story to share and a unique path to healing. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and helping people navigate struggles, share their stories, and develop strong relationships with themselves and their loved ones is a gift that I am grateful to experience.
