You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.
Stephanie is a Couples, Marriage, and Family Intern under the supervision of Erica London, MA, LMFT. She provides counseling to individuals, couples, families in the Vancouver, WA area.
With curiosity and safety, we will explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that impact your well-being and your connections with others. I bring warmth, acceptance, and collaboration so we can step through the therapeutic journey to a place of greater hope and less struggle.
I am currently a student in the Marriage, Couples and Families Master’s program at George Fox University in Portland, Oregon. I received my B.A. in Psychology at Oregon State University and am a long-time resident of the Pacific Northwest. This is a second career for me having spent time in healthcare, and primary and secondary education.
When I’m not at work, my family and I enjoy exploring the outdoors, having living room dance parties with our kiddos, and traveling. I also enjoy reading, being creative, listening to music, and pondering this life journey we’re on.
My Approach & Philosophy
I believe connection and relationships with ourself and others is very important. It can bring us the most joyous experiences but also pain, heartache, stress, and anger. We are dynamic individuals that live within familial, social, and cultural environments that impact the way we live. I provide an open and affirming space for every client and family. I use an integrated approach that includes theoretical frameworks of: Emotionally Focused Therapy, Expressive Arts, Attachment Theory, and psychoeducation.
